What is FIZBO?
Definition – NOUN – A property owner selling on their own while using real estate tools normally reserved for Realtors®.
FIZBO tools can include Multiple Listing Service(s) (MLS), electronic lockbox, agent email campaigns, magazine advertisements, and exposure on websites that display real estate for sale.
FIZBO sellers often offer commission to buyer agents (typical range 2½% - 3½%) while reserving the right to sell without paying any commission.
It is widely understood that FIZBO’s have a dramatic advantage over FSBO’s (for sale by owners) because of the numbers of buyers they attract.
