Idaho Association of Realtor’s - Move to BODO Retail Corner
Posted by Matt Newbill in Fizbomap, For Sale by Owner, News, Tips on January 3rd, 2007
The Idaho Association of Realtor’s (IAR) is on the move… to BODO development; Boise’s newest downtown retail center.
We are finally moving to our new office! During the weeks of December 26 - January 12, 2007, there will be interruptions with our fax, telephone, and email service. Please bear with us. Our new office location is 301 S. Capitol Blvd, Boise, in the BoDo development.

Our understanding of the new facility is IAR purchased nearly 9,000 sq/ft of retail ground floor. This seems like a great investment for any aspiring retail venture. Except, wait, IAR doesn’t sell anything. It’s stated purpose is
IAR Leads the fight to reduce closing costs, save members money, and defeat legislation that would adversely affect the Idaho real estate market.
We might add that IAR plans to introduce legislation in 2007 that would limit consumer choice. The proposed law is known as “MINIMUM SERVICE LAW”. This type of law is apposed by the Department of Justice, the Fair Trade Commission and countless other pro-consumer entities. It is widely held that this type of law is a last ditch effort by real estate trade organizations to preserve life as they know it.
