One Sellers Opinion on Selling Real Estate

I met with some friends this weekend for a trip to the bar for drinks, then to the Funny Bone for a laugh. During drinks, I gabbed about real estate, imagine that! Here’s what I learn from one of my pals (Mark) whom I don’t visit with much.
He and is wife used Property By Owner (PBO) to sell their last home, but didn’t plan on going that route again even though they saved the real estate commissions.
He really valued having PBO’s attorney at his disposal for real estate related questions and admitted this gave him comfort since he doesn’t know very much about the process. He views selling real estate as risky.
He didn’t like showing his own home, although he loves talking about it and real estate in general.
He wished he had more help with the pricing… he thinks he sold too cheap.
He would rather pay an agent to supply the “filter” between him and the buyer. He felt uncomfortable trying to strike a deal face to face with the buyer.
He still doesn’t want to pay for the traditional real estate services. He feels 6% is way too much for what you get.
He is considering flat fee programs like Assist to Sell, but is concerned with competency, or the missing piece that doesn’t make sense, or the general idea that you get what you pay for.
Is there away for Mark to get the best of all real estate worlds? Is the present model of Fizbomap.com the Holy Grail?
With Fizbomap, Mark has licensed real estate professionals as his disposal Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm for all his real estate questions.
With Fizbomap, Mark doesn’t have to pay for any real estate service that he doesn’t need or want.
With Fizbomap, Mark gets to pick the incentive (commission) available to agents who represent buyers that can close the deal. These same agents represent the filter he’s after too.
If Mark procures his own buyer, he can still find an agent filter at Fizbomap. Agents with Fizbomap are the same agents with Genius Realty, Inc., a full service real estate company.
If Mark is looking to buy another house, he can look on his own, and earn 25% of the available buyers agents commission so long as he uses Genius Realty to close the deal. This puts Mark in control of the commission and how it gets used.
While Fizbomap is not quite the Holy Grail, it is at least a nice option that is filled with options.
